I didn’t quite mean to leave my stable job in the way that I did, and what happened next was certainly very fortunate. I picked up a client, and then another one, and then a few more. I was in the restaurant business on my own, networking, buzzing around, eating in gorgeous places, meeting the most amazing people and working on great venues and exciting events.
It’s so challenging to open and run a restaurant, or to launch an event or a pop-up, but it’s always an adventure and a privilege to be involved.
I’ve never known so many resilient, determined, generous, creative, lovely people than I’ve met since I’ve been doing this, and I hope I get to do it for years to come.
